THE DIGESTIVE tract is responsible for our vitality via the breakdown and
absorption of every nutrient that fuels our trillions of cells The Small Intestine is the main organ where everything we eat and drink go through 6 meter long, is processed and the proteins we eat are degraded to small peptides, minerals are processed to soluble state, fat is converted to fatty acid, vitamins are processed to absorbable state etc.

So the first thing to correct for the body to have a better chance of recovery or resistance to any form of chronic condition is to make sure the small intestines are in good health and function. When the absorption and assimilation are affected, production of all necessary proteins, hormones and nutrients for maintenance, renewal or regulation of any organ systems can be affected. This is often the starting point of most chronic degenerative diseases arising from imbalance, deficiencies or depletions

Our small intestine's 3 major roles:
- 90% of absorption of nutrients consumed
- 70% to 80% of body immune cell are located in the small intestine
- Signaling centre for other organs in the body to function at an optimum level (Second Brain)

Problems with the digestive system are typically experienced as bloating, indigestion, gas,
constipation or diarrhea. Many people have experienced gastrointestinal
discomfort for so long that they have adjusted to it and think that their
system's poor function is normal. With healthy digestive function a person will
feel energized and revitalized after a meal for several hours and will not
experience any cravings for sweets. The foundation of good health lies in
proper digestive function.

Immune system is in your gut is your first line of defense against foreign invaders. From the foods we eat, medications we take and day to day stressors within our lives we begin to compromise our immune system.
